Refurbishment Of An Existing Heritage Building For New Commercial Offices
PTI undertook all aspects of the design, documentation, project management and contract administration of this project. We took an old vacant building in the heart of Sydney, planned its refurbishment and oversaw its inclusion on the register as a Schedule 1 Heritage building. This enabled the building to take advantage of the significant bonus payments from Council for major heritage buildings to encourage their refurbishment. We then oversaw all aspects of its refurbishment to completion.
The result is a building which was a significant asset for our Client, as well as an asset for the city in that it brought back to use a beautiful old warehouse building. PTI’s offices were in this building for more than 5 years.
